Hi I’m Jesse!

Health, fitness, and sport has always been a passion in my life. Coming from a military family I am no stranger to hard work and discipline and know how to motivate, encourage, and bring out the best in people. I finished my military service as a Sergeant in the Army National Guard working as a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear specialist. I started my journey to help individuals become healthy during my years at Northern Illinois University, where I studied Exercise Science. With certifications in both personal training and group fitness instruction I have had the opportunity to gain a very well-rounded array of work experience ranging from one on one coaching, group training, bootcamps, HIIT, and youth fitness. You’ll surely get some excitement from me if you enjoy lifting weights! I thoroughly enjoy working with individuals that are looking to transform their body through strength training. Here at Cross Kicks Fitness, we are able to tie in everything I believe in, which is combining a strength and conditioning component with cardio and kickboxing in a high energy training environment. In addition to coaching I have also expanded my career into management and facility operations. “Teamwork makes the dream work!”

Throughout my years in fitness I was fortunate enough to work with some of the best strength training coaches, while living in Iowa, and that helped me become better at my craft and challenge me to become a great coach. These mentors and friends helped drive me to establish my career in fitness. My motivation to share my knowledge and inspire people to become the best that they can be gets me out of bed excited every morning!

I love our community at Cross Kicks Fitness, the intensity everyone brings to the gym, and how everyone pushes each other to achieve goals. I also love that I have the opportunity to build a relationship with everyone and encourage individuals to go outside their comfort zone to become better.

“Take everything step by step and be consistent in the process!”
