The anticipation grows the closer you get. doubt fills your mind. adrenaline builds and the heart races as you clasp your hands on the bar. then GO! you burst nearly out of your shoes, you feel the power burning in your legs, SWITCH! pulling backwards now you feel your whole body at maximum effort but the cheers keep you pushing, pulling, grinding to exhaustion – and pride.

There is no other exercise that generates cheers and comradery in the gym than the sled. Whether it’s loaded with weight (or a coach) to burn out those legs, or pushing for speed down and back on cardio day. High-fives, hoots, hollars, and smiles always fill the gym. It pushes us as much as we push it.
